Currently enrolled Paint, Draw, and Sculpt students on those days are automatically enrolled. PDS students on other days may switch class day an attend an additional class using their class pass. Class time is extended 30 minutes.

Exploring Pop Art!
Tuesday, we will talk about some famous artists such as Andy Warhol, Wayne Thiebaud,and Roy Lichtenstein. Students will create their own pop art painting (shoes, favorite foods etc).
FEB 4 & 11, see times above
Delve into Color!
Saturdays, we will discuss primary, secondary, analogous colors from the color wheel. Some key words will be about color characteristics: hue, value, intensity and temperature. Students will create a realistic subject and apply color combinations?
Shelly Chess is visiting from Tucson Arizona where she teaches at The Tucson Museum of Art. Her childhood experiences have
highlighted how important it is to expose children and young adults to the visual arts. Students become engaged and explore many
art skills, allowing their confidence to grow as they explore their creativity.
