Learn an easy way to produce small but powerful paintings. Follow along with me as we paint “wet-into-wet” using rich primary colors. We will produce two 5x5 inch paintings: one of “Jorn’s Choice” and a second painting of your choice. Bring a photo of your subject matter to the workshop.

David Leffel | March 9 - 12, 2010
A workshop for both still life and live model portraiture will be offered plus demos on both. Besides the 4-day workshop we will be offering an evening of David Leffel demonstrating which will be opened to the public. This is a first time event for us so we are asking for pre-registration to assure seating.

Chinese Brush Painting | April 10 - April 24, 2010
A new workshop for the Art Studio, Chinese Brush Painting will begin April 10th for 3 Saturdays. Debbie Josephson has studied with master Brush Painters and will be the instructor. More info coming soon,This premier artist will be joining TAS for a 5-day Oil Painting Workshop on September 16-20, 2010. A special one day demonstration will be given on September 15. Student Portfolio Preparedness | Gain that edge over your competition! We can review and guide you to strengthen your existing portfolio or help you begin to build one, for the art student interested in attending the Orange County High School of the Arts or any other institution requiring a portfolio review.

Oil Painting Classes | Monday nights with art instructor, Melanie Florio and Tuesday mornings with Ruth Hollis. Introducing a new painting class series where students will have the option to start and finish paintings with targeted goals.

Art for Everyone | The Art Studio is reaching out to children with special needs. Group art classes will be offered for $45/weekly class and private instruction will be available for $65/hour.
